When is the best time to get treated?
Fall and winter. To be ready for the following summer. Leg veins take time to heal.
Is a Doppler (ultra sound) necessary before treating leg veins treatment?
A Doppler helps to identify possible venous incompetencies such as reflux and or perforators which can contribute to the superficial veins.
How do you treat the incompetencies?
Underlying venous incompetencies can be treated by schlerotherapy some by endovenous laser surgery Once these are treated the superficial veins can be treated.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments will vary with each person.

Can you treat face veins with laser?
Face veins are easy to treat. Most require only a single treatment.
What is a a recommended laser treatment for rosacea?
In my experience A combination of IPL and Nd: Yag laser. Isolating any large vessels then targeting the underlying capillaries that cause the flushing.
Laser hair removal
Does laser hair removal help eliminate ingrown hair?
Yes. In my experience lhr takes care of the problem by eliminating the source which is the hair. The laser targets the root and essentially kills the root stopping it's production. No hair no ingrown.
Can you treat dark skin?
Yes. With the Nd:Yag technology I am able to set the parameters so that the hair is targeted and the surface area is kept at a safe temperature.
What are the most popular areas men get treated?
The neck, chest and back.
The neck because of the ingrown hair issue. Some come in for just a couple of treatments on the neck. Just enough hair reduction to keep the red bumps away.
The chest and back are done for obvious reasons....they don't like hair there!
Should I wear sunscreen all year?
YES. Sunscreen should be worn all year round. It is one of the best anti aging tools. A good sunscreen will protect your skin from the aging effects of the sun.
Is Botox really a good anti aging device?
In my opinion it stops the aging of the area in it's tracks. By stopping the muscles that make the wrinkle you are essentially avoiding further damage to that area. The treatment is so easy and so effective. Best anti aging device out there!
What is the difference between Botox and Restylane?
Botox relaxes the muscles that create the wrinkle. Restylane is a filler it is used to fill the wrinkles that are visible at rest or to plumb up lips, cheeks, jaw lines.
