Diana Murphy: Certified Laser Specialist

Diana Murphy has been married to Dr Murphy for 25 years. Their children are attending University, 2 in Ottawa and one in Hamilton. Diana has been working with Dr. Murphy since he opened his practice in Ottawa in 1992. She took 5 years off in the middle to pursue another adventure then returned to work with Dr. Murphy when they opened Murphy Laser in 2003.

Diana was trained in San Francisco at Cuteras' Headquarters. As they upgraded hand pieces, trainers were sent to Ottawa to train both she and Dr. Murphy. Cutera's training is second to none in the industry. Diana attends their user forums twice a year as well as keeps up to speed on line with their webinars. Diana has gone to San Francisco to take the course so she can train others.

Diana performs all the laser services offered at Murphy Laser, her specialty is Face and Leg Veins. "I have been doing Laser Vein therapy for more than 3 and half years now. I am totally addicted to the pleasure it gives my clients. They're so happy when the veins just disappear. It's truly amazing. My clients will tell you how excited I get. I've had many jobs and can honestly say that I truly enjoy this one. It's so nice to put smiles on people's faces everyday!"

Along with performing her regular Laser services, Diana assists when the Dr. is administering Dermal Filler and BOTOX®Cosmetic. "I'll meet with the client first to get a real sense of what they're looking for and to explain the difference between BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dermal Fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, Esthelis, or Radiesse to name a few." "It's important to take the time to educate and listen. Clients are so much happier when they're not rushed." Clients get what they want. They leave looking as good as they feel.

Diana attended last year's Clinical Update Forum in Chicago in August, where the world leaders in laser treatments and laser development get together to share ideas and new techniques.  Diana had available to her the unique online webinars that Cutera makes available to keep their skills and knowledge cutting edge.  Her patients benefit from her extensive training and experience.
